The City of Paris

Paris is one of the best places to visit. Each year it attracts many visitors, with its amazing experiences. There are many different wonderful foods and art collections as well. There is beautiful river that goes through the city, lined by grand museums, centuries-old churches, and long blocks of uniquely designed architecture. Further down are the beautiful trees, and bright streetlamps. The Seine’s cobbled stone walk ways, and wonderful bridges are impossible to get through Parisians during busy times.

Places to Go

The main places to visit in Paris are the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Centre Pompidou, Champs-Elysées, and many more. According to U.S News Paris is ranked 2nd for best places to visit in Europe, 2nd for world’s best places to visit, and 3rd for best romantic European getaways. When traveling in Paris the best way to get to places is by foot. Paris is very big and if you need to go somewhere far then you would have to take the efficient metro system in other words it is called the Métropolitain.

Living and Culture

The months that are the best to go to Paris is in the end of May and the start of September. Places to stay during your visit that have been rated with a 5.0 star are Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris, Hotel Plaza Athenee, and Le Bristol Paris. There are some things that you need to know how to say in French: hello, or good day is “bonjour”, good evening is “bonsoir”. If you don’t know what or how to say something ask a citizen. If you go to a store you can speak to whoever is there operating the store for help. To ask “can you help me” you would say, “pouvez-vous m’aider?” And to ask “do you speak English” you would say is “parlez-vous anglais?” If you wanted to get someone’s attention or to move to a different spot you would say excuse me in English but in Paris you would say, ‘excusez-moi”.

Paris is a good vacation place for traveling the world, or to just visit in my opinion.
