Conspiracy Theories: 9/11

Twin TowersI have been researching conspiracy theories about 9/11 and I have come across 10 interesting beliefs on why the attacks on September 11th, 2001 happened.

1.) Nano thermite was found in “ground zero” ( nano thermite is a reactant used by militia. It is involved with propellants, explosives, and pyrotechnics. )

2.) The owner of the “Twin Towers” was found with explosive blueprints and layouts of the building in his house during an investigation in 2002.

3.) The “WTC” 7 building fell at a speed of 6.5 seconds at free fall acceleration. Larry Silverstein used the term “pull it”. Steel framed high rise buildings have never totally collapsed from fire or structural damage. (Building 7 was not hit by a plane.)

4.) How was the Pentagon hit just 1 hour and 20 minutes after the attacks began? There was no response from the air force base just 11 miles away. The air force base was home to the national guards unit, ( NGU ), in charge with defending the skies above the nation’s capitol. A man named Hani Hanjour who failed as a Cessna pilot on his first flight in a Boeing. How did he execute a difficult aerobatic maneuver to strike the Pentagon?

5.) The U.S military and other authorities planned or actually rehearsed defensive tactics for all elements of the 9/11 scenario during the year prior to the attack including multiple hijackings, suicide crash bombings, and a strike in the Pentagon.

6.) People were calling others from a cell phone, but did cell phones work at 30,000 feet in 2001?

7.) Right before the 911 attacks some fishy business happened within the stock market and insurance firms.

8.) Two holes were visible in the Pentagon immediately after the attack: a 75-foot wide entry hole in the building’s exterior wall, and a 16-foot wide hole in ring C, (the Pentagon’s middle ring). Many people believe both holes are far too small to have been made by a Boeing 757. “How does a plane 125-feet wide and 155-feet long fit into a hole which is only 16-feet across”? Says the reopen911.org.

9.) The first hijacked plane  through the 94th to the 98th floors of the Twin Towers south tower; the second jet rammed into the 78th to the 84th floors of the south tower. The impact and ensuing flames disrupted elevator services in both buildings. Also, the lobbies of both buildings were visibly damaged before the towers collapsed. “THERE IS NO WAY the impact of the jet caused such widespread damage 80 stories below”, claims the San Diego independent media center web site. (sandiego.indymedia.org). “IT IS OBVIOUS and IRREFUTABLE that OTHER EXPLOSIVES ( such as concussion bombs) HAD ALREADY BEEN DETONATED in the lower levels of tower one at the same time that the planes crashed”

10.) Jet fuel burns at 800 degrees to 1500 degrees F, which is not hot enough to melt steel (2,750 degrees F). However, experts agree that for the towers to collapse, their steel frames did not have to melt, they just had to lose some of their structural strength and that required exposure to much less heat. “I have never seen melted steel in a building fire”. Says retired New York deputy fire chief Vincent Dunn, author of the Collapse Of Burning Buildings:  A Guide To Fireground Safety. “But I have seen a lot of twisted, warped, bent, and sagging steel. What happens is that the steel tries to expand at both ends, but when it can no longer expand, it sags and the surrounding concrete cracks”. Understandingly the building will definitely collapse but not at the speed or angle that is did. If the metal sagged then it would have fell slowly on a slant but instead it fell fast going straight down.

Here is the information I have gathered from multiple sources. What is you opinion on what happened on September 11th?
